Grotto Your Phone Case @ Bloom !

It’s been a hot second since I've have a chance to host one of these and I'm so excited to have been invited to do so at Bloom where I am an art therapy intern! 💖 Join us for our Grotto Your Phone Case workshop on Sunday, November 19th from 2-4:30 PM.

Embeddable objects will be provided (sooooo many), but feel free to bring your own to add an even more personalized touch. Be sure to bring a non-silicone case to fit your phone.

I'm hosting the first ever phone/lighter case Workshop at Yours Truly on Saturday, June 11th! Come join us. Class details and registration link here .

Make your own Grotto Phone or Lighter case

June 11th - 11:00-1:30

In this workshop you will create your own phone OR lighter case using a self-hardening two part epoxy clay embedded with treasures such as beads, stones, coins, tiles, and shells. Clay can be color tinted, marbled and carved into- the ability to customize is endless. All materials provided but feel free to bring your own embeddable “treasures”!

NOTE: You must provide your own phone case! Any hard or relatively firm plastic case will do. (Otterbox, lifeproof, etc). Some types of firm silicone cases work well and others are too slippery- please email Becca at b.kacanda@gmail.com if you’re not sure. A great budget option is JetTech brand cases from Amazon.

Lighter cases are additional $5. I will provide you with a metal sleeve that fits over any standard size Bic lighter.

You will be able to take home your custom case the same day and it will be fully cured and ready for use in 24 hours.

Create you own “Magic Vessel”, a spin on the traditional folk art “memory jug”

While the process of creating a Magic Vessel is similar to that of a mosaic, this one step process is less fussy & instantly gratifying. Prepare to slow down and become fully immersed in the ritual of embedding objects. We promise you’ll enjoy it 💗

*While all materials are included, you’re welcome to bring your own vessel (glass, metal, or ceramic) as well as your own embeddable objects (coins, jewelry, small toys and other mementos).
